What is ISA 2023 ?
The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted global supply chains, causing shortages of critical inputs, such as seeds and fertilizer, and creating distribution challenges. Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University, Indonesia would like to address issues around resilience of the agricultural sector in the global food crisis. It is our hope that the results from this seminar may form the basis for the decisions that policy makers and other stakeholders need to consider to improve food sovereignty in global world system. Prof. Quentin Grafton
Australian National University
Quentin Grafton, FASSA, is Professor of Economics, Australian Laureate Fellow, Convenor of the Water Justice Hub, and Director of the Centre for Water Economics, Environment and Policy (CWEEP) at the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University.

Prof. Alan Renwick
Lincoln University
Alan Renwick currently works at the Department of Global Value Chains and Trade, Lincoln University New Zealand. His area of research is agricultural economics. Current research projects include ‘Dairy Farm Systems for the Future. and ‘Next Generation Systems’

Prof. Kwansoo Kim
Seoul National University
Principal Research Areas :
Agricultural and Food System, Food Economics, Risk and Decision Analysis, Econometric Modelling

Prof. Datuk M Nasir Shamsudin
Universiti Putra Malaysia
Dedicated Professor with over 30 years of experience serving as a lecturer in agricultural economics. Adept in developing curriclum in the fields of agriculture, agribusiness and resource economics, and experienced in conducting impactful research outputs.

Prof. Agus Setiadi
Universitas Diponegoro
Agus Setiadi currently works as a vice dean at the Department of Agribusiness, Universitas Diponegoro. His area of research is agribusiness. Current research project is ‘The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Sales Volume and Revenue of Gerbera Flower Farming (Case Study at P4S Mitra Veteran Mandiri, Bandungan)’

Agribusiness
To discuss the solutions on achieving resilience of agricultural sector in the global food crisis

Animal Sciences
To provide a forum for scientific discussion, professional networking, research collaboration, education, and dissemination of scientific research, innovation and industrial products

Plant Sciences
To increase the quality of research and development in the multidisciplinary approach in order to discuss the solutions on achieving resilience of agricultural sector in the global food crisis

Food Technology
To encourage the local and regional young scientists to attend and present their works at the international level.
